The Hideaway

For our first meal out without our wee baby we decided to head to the Hideaway. It’s not a far drive meaning we could get home if she decided to create havoc.

I worked at The Hideaway restaurant when I was in 6th year at school but it has been taken over since then. I wanted to check out the new restaurant.
It didn’t disappoint.

Service was quick and friendly. The food was lovely and the portions were generous. I’m sure we will head back again soon.

I had the pate to start and Paul had the fishcakes.

For a main I had the chicken and mushroom pie while Paul had a giant Yorkshire pudding filled while braised steak.

We couldn’t manage a dessert each so we shared this delicious raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake.
