I have been itching to try the Jam Jar dessert at Mark Greenaway’s restaurant for what feels like forever. I’ve seen lots of others tweet and blog of its greatness, so when I went to the restaurant for lunch a few weeks ago I knew what I was having for dessert.
Here is is in all it’s glory!
Now you might be asking what exactly is it. Well as you can see its a Jam Jar filled with a dessert. Which is Raspberry Compote, Sorbet, Rice Pudding, Raspberry Jelly and Vanilla Ice Cream. Now how to describe it, hmm its an amazing blend of hot and cold, sweet, tangy and creamy all at once. It’s yum!
Definitely worth trying (also the starter and main course were exceptional too and the service was fab).
