Dunfermline and West Fife GE2015 – Where do the candidates eat?

My lovely Edinburgh friend writes a fab blog Crumbs and Petals in which she has been outlining where the Edinburgh candidates like to eat and drink. Now in Dunfermline we might not have the same quantity of eateries but I think we can go toe toe with the big City on quality. So I decided to ask our candidates for their favourite places to eats. (Listed alphabetically )

 Lewis Campbell – Scottish Greens

Lewis’ favourite places to eat in Dunfermline are:

His favourite takeaway is the Shabab Tandoori and recommends the 12″ deluxe munchie box! I’ve had a look and the munchie box is a pizza box filled with: chicken tikka, lamb tikka, chicken pakora, vegetable pakora, mushroom pakora, chips, chaat patay, donner meat, chilli sauce, garlic Mayonnaise, salad & naan. Wow just Wow!

Douglas Chapman  – SNP

Douglas lists his favourite places as:

A fish tea at Alaris

An Indian from either Everest or Taste Of India

And breakfast at Rankins

Gillian Cole-Hamilton – Liberal Democrats

Gillian Gillian has provided a great selection of her favourite places to eat.

The Hideaway

khushis  ( Making its second appearance in the list, clearly a popular place to go)

Her favourite takeaway is The Golden Chip Dunfermline

Thomas Docherty– Labour

Thomas’ favourite places to go are:

The Abbot House– he says they do a really good lunch menu with lots of variety, plus the toy room makes it extremely popular with his two children.

For a special night out he would recommend the Garvock House Hotel

For takeaway he goes to The Curry Pot

Last but by no means least is James Reekie – Conservative

James’ favourite places to go for something to eat are:

The Red Lion Inn in Culross

The Wee Restaurant

And Carlucci’s

He says for a takeaway it has to be The Brig

So there you have it. While it might not help you decide on who to vote for hopefully it’s given you a few ideas of where to go for dinner tonight. Now about that munchie box …
